My first post

Hello,

Welcome to my new blog; I hope that the information posted here in days and weeks to come will be of help to those of you who are seeking to either prevent illness or improve your health.

There has been a major shift in the public's approach to health. Recent research in the science of nutrition has shown that we have a choice; we can allow our health to be managed by others, or we can inform ourselves and act proactively.

Allowing our health to deteriorate, THEN trying to recapture it, is so much more difficult and costly than preventing deterioration and disease in the first place.

Nutritional science is fascinating. We are beautifully designed, but we tend to take our body for granted until things start to go wrong. It goes without saying that prevention is much simpler and less expensive, in money, time and, sadly, pain. However, even if we are experiencing a health problem, that is no reason to
give up, there is much that we can do to bring about change that can improve our life.

As new reports surface on health issues related to the benefit(s) of nutrition, I will be posting them to this blog.
